So, when you are done reading this you may notice that I am sort of impartial to the KitchenAid brand. The reason is that KitchenAid is always exceeding expectations and when you purchase one of their products you can do so confidently knowing that it is going to do all that you want it to do and then some. This time it is the KitchenAid Professional 600 Series 6-quart Lift Stand Mixer that I recommend. This baby is really nice I must say. I use it at competitions sometimes and I definitely think that I owe thanks to it for my many wins. But of course, it could not do it without the help of the cook! This is a stand mixer that I still use because of my competitions.
This all-metal stand mixer is lightweight so it is easy for me to move to one location to the next. That is important when you are using a machine like this. The bowl is 6 quarts deep so it makes a bit more than what the average family needs. But it is great for larger families as well as for others like me that enter contests on a regular basis or who for one reason or another need to prepare a bit more.
This stand mixer has lots to offer its user and one of those things is style. It is sleek and stylish and definitely adds charm to any kitchen décor that you may have. There are also a few different colors to pick from, so that makes it so much more fun. The Tangerine won my heart over, but you can find black, red, blue, and other colors available also.
There is a handle on the bowl which I love. Many of the stand mixers do not offer this, so this one has an advantage here. The handle makes it easy to grip, hold in place, pour, and more. It is also easier to lift when it is time to clean. Speaking of cleaning, that is also an area where this stand mixer excels because it is safe for the dishwasher, making clean –up a snap. I surely hate to do the dishes, even though I love to spend so much time in the kitchen. So I appreciate the fact that an appliance makes my life just a little bit easier with this awesome feature.
There are 10 speeds on this mixer. There are some stand mixers that have 12 or more speeds but I find that 10 is plenty enough for me to handle most of my needs. The mixer includes a few attachments and several are available for options purchase if you desire. Included with the mixer are a wire whisk, a flat beater, a dough hook, and a splash guard. This machine uses a 67-point system to provide thorough mixes of most any dough or mixture that you needed commanding. I love this machine!
