I told you earlier that you’d see that KitchenAid is one of my favorite brands and it really is. Another stand mixer that I recommend for purchase is the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus 5-quart stand mixer. There is nothing bad about this machine and it will become one of those appliances that you use more often than you ever imagined that you would.
This stand mixer is available in an array of colors that are used to excite you, including white, red, crystal blue and majestic yellow, among others. It is a smaller machine so it does not take up a lot of counter space and when it is time to store, it handles this task quite well.
This machine offers 450 watts of power. It is not designed to use by someone that is going to mix large batches or who is going to use it on multiple occasions during the day. However, the machine is powerful and pirouette enough to use on a regular basis; just make sure that you give it a rest. The reason that I no longer use this model is that I needed something with a bit more power.

The speed settings include 10 different options so it really doesn’t matter what you are preparing you can do it with simplicity and ease. The splash start feature is one that I really like. This is something that is great for newbies who are just learning how to use their mixers and it prevents messes. It is so easy to make a mess when using stand mixers if you are not careful but this is not something that you have to worry about. There are also a lot of other features that you can appreciate about this machine.
First, it has an auto-shutdown feature. This prevents damage from occurring due to overheating. The stand mixer is unique as well because it spins counterclockwise. Most stand mixers do not. This action allows each and every mixture that you put inside to get evenly mixed you never have to worry about your mixture not being fully incorporated ever again!
This stand mixer comes with a 5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl. As I mentioned earlier, this bowl size is large enough to accommodate most people and most families. It is rust-resistant, easy to clean, and easy to use. The ergonomic handle is another advantage of this stand mixer model. It reduces strain and hassle on your hands and anyone that cooks in the kitchen often understands the damage that you can cause.
Attachments that come with this stand mixer include a wire hook, a flat beater, and a dough hook. As with the other machines on the market, optional attachments are also available and sold separately.
